Never been much of a Thunderbolt fan though.įeels like at this pace, I should have ample time to romp around the galaxy with more assaults than I know what to do with before 1200 days are up.ħ85 days remaining, Regular rank (160k+), 4 assaults, 4/5 maxed pilots, fully upgraded mech bay, 3mill c-bills. I might even finish a Thunderbolt on my current planet if I can make enough on contracts to buy the last 2 parts without blowing out my cash reserves. Not sure what the hump up to Assaults is going to be like, but I think my Heavy roster will fill out quickly as I have quite a few that are almost there. Working on my 3rd array of mech bays, and am running pretty smooth when it comes to cash. I'm a little less than 500 days in, did 2 Flashpoints, and just got my 2nd Heavy. So for Battletech Career Mode, I'm curious where people are? You certainly don't let 4 mechs be taken out one by one. When there is a pirates bane about and you have a 6 mechs available is that you divide into 2 kill teams. Because taking a 7-1 advantage to a 1-1 tie is ridiculous. So apparently it's a theb33f christmas tradition to own shit teams on HPG. ![]() Wasn't that last years christmas video? The one vs an absolute shit team that either spent all the time in thermal or were legally blind. The B33f beat 6 other mechs and forced a tie on HPG in a Pirates Bane as the last mech standing that never turned off stealth. I wonder if my rank has dropped back down to 5 yet. Is this the change that'll get me back into a cockpit? Sorely tempted to pull out my PB. It even hews a bit closer to canon in function. ![]() ![]() Stealth now generates 1.5 heat/sec while active, but weapons heat now dissipates while stealthed, too. Reworked stealth armor means a 4xML pirate's bane can stay in stealth permanently.
